SDAGPT opportunities

Hello fellow missionaries, evangelists, media people, researchers, educators, fellow servants (Rev 22:9) . Having taught the majority of AI and Microprocessors classes in computer science and engineering at our local adventist university, it is a duty to share the emerging mission / educational / SOP possibilities. A natural next thing that happens when underlying building blocks develop.

Public LLM

  1. https://www.forbes.com/sites/cindygordon/2023/02/02/chatgpt-is-the-fastest-growing-ap-in-the-history-of-web-applications/
  2. there should be an LLM that "aligns" with sda beliefs. https://www.google.com/search?q=chatgpt+alignment
  3. sdallm should integrate faith, values (IFVLike) in the answers
  4. example chatgpt prompt to get into this mode:
    "for all chats, you will try to add a related bible verse and ellen g. white quotation."
Committee LLM
  1. sda committee LLM is to listen to live conversation (speech-to-text technology) and display relevant information (pro or cons) from church beliefs (bible, egwwritings, voted gc session minutes); local historical uploaded committee minutes, policies, procedures; accreditation requirements / self-survey instruments; compliance laws / reviews / lists / recommendations / needs. while specifying the source and the confidence level of the source (bible highest, egw lesser light, voted gc session - respected, the rest are commentaries / experiments / hypotheses)

SDAAnnotate
  1. like turnitin / grammarly. paste / upload your article and the system will, per idea, show references in sda literature that agrees, or disagrees with the thought. additionally suggest IFVL / object lessons.
There is expected to be a exponential flood of ai generated content in the near future, and sda messages should also be embedded in that wave.  As much as we are trying to fill d web with sda videos, the AI space must have sda AIs as well.

Tablets of stone don't scale well.  Scrolls scale better. Books make it easier to find something unsequentially, better than sequential scrolls. Like disk vs tape.  Computers help "search" and automate indexing of thousands of pages in milliseconds. AI can help us think / remember alignment with God's Word.

An AI that will "super align" with the bible, sop, and gc session minutes. As much as the Holy Spirit has used writings on stone, scrolls, pages, libraries, supernatural visions, electronic video/audio, livestreams of current events, recording of past events, prophetic visions of the future. We must stamp God's Words all around the AI space, as the bible instructs us to put God's law reminders on the doorposts, the clothes, and the waking/walking/lying/etc... activities.

While other LLMs are shy to tell the Truth, ours should definitively tell the Truth and stand for the right though the heavens fall. Differentiating "according"-ness (Isa 8:20) from presumption.

To correct ourselves before others do. For the next generations to avoid our mistakes.

As internet advertisers promote their products in relation to what we are searching, reading, watching. We should also advertise God's Word depending on what people are looking/searching/watching about.

"New Life in Old Methods—Men are needed who pray to God for wisdom, and who, under the guidance of God, can put new life into the old methods of labor and can invent new plans and new methods of awakening the interest of church members and reaching the men and women of the world." —Manuscript 117, 1907.

"New methods must be introduced. God’s people must awake to the necessities of the time in which they are living. God has men whom He will call into His service,—men who will not carry forward the work in the lifeless way in which it has been carried forward in the past...." {Ev 70}
