Codec: MPEG4 Video (this is the fastest encoding codec i've tried) (BIGGEST factor)
Resolution: lower is faster (but less nice to watch), i use 720p
Frame rate: 30 fastest, then 24 still fast, but 23.976 was almost half as the two
Quality: doesn't seem to matter in my testing

Audio
Codec: AAC
Data Rate: 128Kb/s

with these settings i can get up to 98fps rendering at 100% cpu speed, but due to cpu heat throttling only sustains about 44fps at 50% cpu clock.

my laptop is Samsung Series 7 Chronos (i7-3635QM at 2.40Ghz, 8gb ram, Intel HD Graphics 4000 and GeForce GT 640M, 500gb harddisk)
